Best Vacant Home Staging Project
The living room of an updated ranch style home had an excellent neutral palette to work with. We kept the staging neutral and interesting by incorporating different textures and layers. The bonus area by the entry to the home was staged as a work space to showcase the versatility and potential of the home. The staging in the primary bedroom was simple yet effective to complement the overall design of the rest of the home.
We loved staging this English Tudor Revival home with its intricate diagonal muntin casement windows and warm wood floors. With white walls, soaring ceilings and dark wood beamed ceilings, it was a dream to furnish and style with fresh white linen and taupe neutrals. We added touches of B&W for some edge. Here in the living room, a generous sofa pairs well with taupe swivel chairs.
A view from the stairway into the living room reveals a bright and sunny interior -- a fresh and clean palette for our staging style that mixes transitional with touches of both Global and Boho influences. Our fave seagrass rug grounds everything and adds a natural nubbiness.
This larger-than-life dining room needed a statement table, so we brought in a 105" custom-made reclaimed wood table from a local maker. Its metal legs have an industrial feel and, paired with the slightly more formal chairs, provides a tasteful balance. On the table, a pair of jade green Asian ceramic jars are all that's needed.
We love styling built-ins and take every opportunity to bring in items of antiquity, scale and personality. Large coffee table books, interesting brass objects, antique shoe lasts, vintage pottery and plants are all part of our styling repertoire.
An oversized rustic coffee table is laden with properly scaled items like large tomes, a ceramic vase, sprays of greenery and a metal jack. Our goal is to charm, entertain and cajole buyers into wanting to know more about the home they're touring -- and to imagine the warm moments they'll experience in it should it become theirs.
The kitchen's standout pendants were our inspiration for the neutral staging we did here. Everything is toned to coordinate with the cabinetry and hardware, and styled to emphasize space, convenience, conviviality and fun. The kitchen is the heart of every home and we style them with that in mind. Organically shaped counter stools pull up to the island where vintage wooden dough bowls and sprays of leaves beckon. Who wouldn't want to cook and eat a meal here?
Scale is super important when staging, and here's where we shine. We have several items in our inventory we use solely for homes of this size. We don't always pull them out, but when we do, we have good reason. Anything smaller would have appeared completely out of scale. A vintage bust on stand, nature-themed art and a tall vase with fan palm fronds complete the look.
The primary bedroom is a sea of soothing neutrals, complete with a linen nailhead bed and feather art. We brought in a nubby Scandi rug and a Mid Century modern chair just to mix things up a bit. Linens are all natural cotton with various striped patterns and a mix of warm and cool neutrals, our favorite pairing.
A tall tufted linen bed grounds a guest room surrounded in soft colors and tones. A Moroccan Beni Ourain rug underneath makes for cozy barefoot awakenings and Mid Century modern touches like the nightstands -- plus trendy items like a fringed pillow -- speak a modern language.
We love using our round jute rug, and here it worked perfectly in this small guest bedroom. A simple modern upholstered bed keeps it clean-lined and fresh, with a fringed throw casually tossed at the foot of the bed and a striking graphic pattern pillow says "notice me!"
This project was a charming three bedroom home with high ceilings, mezzanine & many character features. Tucked away on a private country lane with creek frontage, my task was to create a tranquil and rustic hideaway that could also be marketed as a potential holiday rental or AirBnb.
This generous central space included the kitchen, living, dining and mezzanine. A sumptuous linen sofa, cosy throws and cushions soften the space, whilst dried palms, stone and wood elements provide some rustic charm. Beautiful hand woven African vessels nestle into the room's gorgeous open fireplace.
White on white, dried palms and a Malawi chair bring a coastal element to this hideaway that is just minutes to the ocean. Breezy sheer curtains were brought in to soften the windows and frame the lush green surrounds.
To create a beautiful parent's retreat the master bedroom's four poster bed was dressed with soft linens and feather filled cushions. A lovely moroccan cushion sourced from a local market adds a global touch. To ground the space a jute rug has the added benefit of concealing carpet which has seen better days!
The master bedroom was generous enough to add a little reading nook. Again linen sheers were used to soften the windows and leading the buyer outside to a romantic setting for two.
This second bedroom was a challenge to style due largely to its narrowness. A pillow laden bed, linen curtains to frame the view and a prettily decorated desk however, became the makings of a lovely second bedroom.
A double hanging chair would have to be one of my favorite staging pieces. Framed with a pair of potted palms they bring romance and and charm to any exterior space.
This project is a one-bedroom apartment located in the heart of the city. The room theme is inspired by a Parisian apartment. A combination of classic and contemporary is added into the room.
When walking into the space, it gave a feeling of serenity and comfort by using a mixtures of blue and white tones.
Having different type of light decoration also plays a key role in creating the right mood and adjusting the ambiance of interior space.
In one of the photos, it is a close-up of a custom made piece of furniture for this project. Adding a hint of luxury by using a stainless steel gold with white carrara marble top. The curve edge help soften the lines of the cabinet doors making it a perfect match!
In the bedroom, a big arch mirror to help soften the overall of the space. Styling the bed in 2 colors, making the room looks cozy and minimal.
This $1.6M farmhouse in the country was such fun to stage! We embraced the rustic beams and quilt-look fireplace tiles with swoon-worthy farmhouse furnishings.
In the dining room, we created a bespoke table using a giant, heavily cracked and distressed wood slab atop two trestle legs, then paired it with rustic metal dining chairs. Ironwork and rope mirror, tabletop bird cages, and eucalyptus blanket ladder complete the look. Similarly in the living room, we designed a console table using distressed barn wood and rebar, paired with a linen Chesterfield sofa and side chairs.
In the bedrooms, we customized a master headboard and brought out our favorite airy rattan vintage loveseat to lighten and brighten.
